Biography
Alex Fabbri (born May 9, 2003) is an Italian athlete specializing in horizontal jumps, particularly the triple jump (his main discipline) and the long jump. He is considered one of the most promising and consistent talents of his generation in Italian jumping events.
Raised in the youth ranks of Nuova Atletica Molinella in the province of Bologna—an environment with a strong local sporting tradition—he currently competes for A.S.D. Pontevecchio Bologna. After climbing the youth rankings in Italy, winning regional titles and claiming podium finishes at the National University Championships, he achieved international recognition in July 2025. There, he narrowly missed the podium, securing an excellent 4th place in the triple jump at the European Athletics U23 Championships in Bergen.
Fabbri stands out for his remarkable versatility (boasting solid marks in the high jump as well) and for a steady technical progression that establishes him as a regular feature in the Italian national team selection.
