Alexandrina Mihai

Biography

Alexandrina Mihai is an Italian race walker of Moldovan origins, born in Chetrosu on May 27, 2003. She arrived in Italy in March 2009 to join her parents who had settled in Soave (Verona), she began athletics in 2015 at the San Bonifacio facility, specializing in race walking under the guidance of coach Pierluigi Padoan.

Athlete of the Fiamme Oro, she won her first Italian title in 2019 as a student in the 5,000 m race walk. 2022 was the year of the turning point with a time of 1h35:59 in the 20 km race walk, lower than the national under 20 record of Antonella Palmisano
