Triple Jumper
Born on July 4, 2003, Alexia Ioana Dospin has established herself as one of the most promising triple jumpers of the new European generation, representing Romania with determination and talent.
An athlete of CSM Constanța, where she is coached by Carmen Botea, Dospin has built her career with steady progression. In 2021, she made her international youth debut, finishing seventh at the U20 World Championships in Nairobi.
2025 marked her breakthrough year: after setting a personal best of 13.75 meters at the National Indoor Championships, she claimed the gold medal at the European U23 Championships in Bergen with an outstanding jump of 14.05 meters, breaking through the 14-meter barrier for the first time. This victory represented Romania’s first gold in the competition since 2017.
Known for her ability to deliver her best performances at the most important competitions, Dospin continues to represent one of the most interesting prospects in European triple jump.
