Born on January 1, 2007, in Segrate, Elisa Valensin is rapidly establishing herself as one of the most promising Italian athletes in track and field, specializing in hurdles and sprint events.
Career and Progress
2016: Begins her athletic journey with Società Ginnastica Milanese Forza e Coraggio.
2017: ASPES
2022: Under the guidance of coach Fausto Frigerio, wins the Italian U16 title in 300m hurdles.
2023: A breakthrough year for Elisa:
- Joins Atletica Bergamo 1959
- Becomes Italian U18 vice-champion in 60m hurdles indoor
- Wins gold in the Italian U18 championships in 4×1 lap indoor, setting the Italian record
- Captures gold in 400m hurdles and 4x400m at the Italian U18 outdoor championships
- Sets Italian U18 and U20 records in 4x400m with teammates Caporali, Vaccari, and Volonterio
- Wins silver in the Swedish relay at the EYOF in Maribor, setting the Italian record
- Competes in the U20 European Championships in Jerusalem, reaching the final in 200m
2024: Continues her rise:
- Sets the Italian U18 and U20 record in 200m on short track
- Wins the Italian title in 200m, further improving U18 and U20 records
- Clinches gold in 4×2 laps at the Italian Absolute Indoor Championships, contributing to the U20 Italian record
